The Music Ministries at Christ United Methodist Church offer a variety of ways for people of all ages to lead our congregation in worship through music. From singing to playing handbells or other instruments, everyone is welcome to find a place to musically serve the congregation.

Kids Praise!
Ages K-5th grade will begin in the Fall of 2021.
Rehearsals: Wednesdays, 5:00- 5:30 pm Open to children in Kindergarten through fifth grades, Kids Praise will continue the strong tradition of children’s vocal music in the church.

Chancel Choir!
Ages: 9th-Adult
Rehearsals: Thursdays, 8:00- 8:45 pm Open to youth and adults that want to make a joyful noise to the Lord in a choral setting, the Chancel Choir is the ensemble that sings in worship most regularly (approximately 3 times each month.) Additionally, they provide special music for other events/services in the life of the church – Christmas Eve, Easter, Holy Week, etc. Experience singing and reading music are, of course beneficial, but are not required…we have a loving team of singers that help one another succeed!

Revelations!
Ages: 9th grade to Adult
Rehearsals: Thursdays, 6:00-6:45pm. Open to all high school youth and adults with a desire to ring, Revelations is the ideal group for beginning and intermediate ringers. In addition to learning and playing quality handbell music in worship, this group focuses on music and bell fundamentals in a fun loving environment.

Gosbells!
Ages: Adult (exceptionally advanced youth may be invited to ring/substitute)
Rehearsals: Thursdays, 7:00-7:45pm. This bell choir approaches various styles and genres of repertoire written for the more advanced handbell choir. Previous experience ringing and/or reading music is a definite plus.
