“GOING ONCE, GOING TWICE, SOLD” to show Christ’s Love in Missions
Annual Mission Auction & Dinner October 15th
The annual Missions Dinner & Auction is Sunday, October 15th. This annual event is a highlight of the church year and is also the biggest fundraiser for supporting our Missions efforts for the coming year. With the recent hurricanes, the needs for funding mission projects down south makes this event even more important.
This year’s delicious meal includes swiss steak, mashed potatoes, gravy, green beans, cole slaw, fresh bread, pie, and beverage for $12 a person. All children 12 and under eat free! Tickets go on sale September 17th through October 8th. Dinner starts at 5PM but doors will open at 4:15PM so people can view the many auction items prior to the auction that starts at 6PM.
If you haven’t already done so, please prayfully consider what you can contribute to this annual mission auction event. Auctionable items, services, theme baskets, gift cards, collectibles, specialty products, meals, get-aways are all possible items and nothing is too small to be used by the Lord to help others. ‘Sign-ups’ for donated items will be in the Sunday School classes and church office beginning September 17th. All auction items should be in the Fellowship Hall by 5PM on October 14th.
Come for a great time of fellowship, food, and fun as we all work to fund our mission efforts for the rest of 2017 and the coming year. Your investment in the dinner and auction is ultimately an investment in changing lives through the many ministries and missions we support that share the love and message of the gospel.
